Detailed Itinerary

If you are a first time trekker and wondering for a trek then Hampta Pass is the best ideal chosen place. The unforgettable high moderate Himalayan adventure Hampta Pass Trek is based in the region of beautiful Himanchal (Manali) at an altitude of 14100 ft. high. Hampta pass trekking can be done in any season, but the best time to go for trek is in the month of June to September. Hampta Pass trekking gives an amazing experience of exploring your life with special hues of nature. One gets an incredible view of rock faces, frosty valleys, thick pine forest, open meadows, adrenaline pumping waterway and pleasant as well as adventurous crossing areas.


It connects two beautiful valley named; Kullu and Lahaul, were one get various Landscapes. Colorful Himalayan birds, species and flowers attract the viewers by their beauty. The scenic landscape, frequently change in weather and atmosphere delights the trekkers and gives a good option of clicking pictures. Climbing on the snow stretch and finding peace with nature with the surroundings of Himalaya is vast.


 

Day 1: REPORT AT BASE CAMP


First day is reserved for meet and greet, and orientation, after you reach the base camp the trek leader will take a small orientation session, covering information like packing, walking techniques. You will also be given general information about the trek and the route. Stay overnight at the base camp.


DAY 2: DRIVE FROM MANALI TO JOBRA THEN START TREK TO CHIKA


On the second day we leave the base camp by 8 AM. We will be carrying lunch and breakfast with us. The first leg of the day’s travel would include a jeep drive from Base Camp to Hampta Dam. The way that leads to Hampta Dam is lined with Maple, Pine, Walnut and Oak trees, making it refreshing and enjoyable.

After reaching Hampta we prepare to trek to Chikka, which is also our final destination for the day. It will take approximately 2 hours to reach this place, and it is also an easy stretch, crossing two wooden bridges and a small patch of forest. We reach the campsite at Chikka and prepare for our stay overnight.


DAY 3: HIKE TO BALU KA GHERA (5 HRS EASY ASCENT)


The third day Trek is a gradual ascent. While Trekking, we will be able to see the spectacular Dhauladhar range in the background and Indrasan peak in front. The best part of today’s Trek that we have to cross two rivers one at the start just near to Chikka Campsite and other at waraNcusa. We will have our packed lunch after crossing the jwarancusa.


DAY 4: BALU KA GERA TO SIAGURU, CROSSING HAMPTA PASS


This is the most spectacular part of the Trek as we cross the Hampta Pass and then descend to our campsite in Siaguru. From Hampta Pass you can see the Indrasan Peak and its gigantic glacier. Today’s Trek will take us approximately 8 hrs to reach Siaguru. The ascent on this part of the Hampta Pass Trek will be moderate.


DAY 5: SIAGURU TO CHATRU. DRIVE TO CHANDRATAL


This day we have an easy descent through the Hampta Valley. The massive mountains of the Pir Panjal and Spiti ranges dominate the entire landscape till the campsite at Chatru. Chatru is a confluence point of paths from Rohtang Pass, Hampta Pass and Spiti. From Chatru if road and weather condition permit we head to the ChandraTaal and camp at suitable place according to the conditions.


DAY 6: DRIVE FROM CHANDRATAL/CHATRU TO MANALI VIA THE ROHTANG PASS


In the morning after breakfast we leave for Manali via the Rohtang Pass. Our wonderful Experience of Trekking in Himachal ends.

  • Lightweight floaters/sandals/slippersRaincoat / Poncho, Small lightweight Towel
  • Water bottle
  • Sunscreen Lotion
  • Cap to keep the intense sun away from your face, Sunglasses
  • Walking stick / Trekking pole, Torch / Flashlight (with extra batteries)
  • Medicines (if requiring any particular medication)
  • Personal toiletries
  • Daypack/small bag which you will Carry on your back every day and keep your essentials in it
  • Camera with charged batteries

 

Cancellation Policy:


  • Up to 24 Days :- 95% of Trek/Tour cost will be refunded.
  • Between 14-24 Day :- 70% of Trek/Tour cost will be refunded.
  • Between 14-08 Days :- 50% of Trek/Tour cost will be refunded.
    Less than 7 Days :- No refund

Important Notes:-


Hotel checks in & check out time as per the hotel.

A/C will not work on hills.

Vehicle is as per itinerary and not on disposal. Additional sightseeing or transfer which are not mentioned in itinerary is payable to the driver directly.

Company is not responsible for any accident/injury/death/theft of person or property during the course of the tour.

No refund for short stay or unveiled facilities.

Refund of against cancellation of hotel as per hotel rules.
